My company has two Cisco 3660 routers with the same IOS 12.1(5)T one of them supports VLANs and the other doesnt seem to recorgnise any VLAN commands i really do not know what to do
I copied the IOS from the router which supports VLANS into the one which doesnt since both have the same version...

i made all the config right but i acant accces the net
i can ping my next hop tyhat is my isp's router and his DVB modem but i cant get pass that point i guess my config,s are right since i can ping my next hop

I lost my 1700 series cisco password; and tried the usual password recovery procedure. As soon as I Type confreg 0x2142 at the rommon 1; the router displays absolute rubbish. I waited a while and restarted it, it loads cradp like :

What IP address you have on Ethernet port of router A ?,
not too sure if I quite understand, however old router can be configured to use new router as gateway, you would therefore have to redirect all traffic from old router to new router using IP route command to specific interface that connects both routers. If u are not intending to change any...
