Transfer to Voice Mail Flashes Feature Code

The problem is consistent with these two sets. The problem does not appear to be related to call volume. We did reduce the number of intercom paths to 1 on each of these phones to fix some issues we were having with call center. This must be the problem. Thank you.

Transfer to Voice Mail Flashes Feature Code

Two extensions on a CICS have suddenly lost their ability to transfer calls to voice mailboxes. The display on the T7316e set flashes the feature code 986 and then returns to the ordinary in-call display. There is no prompt to enter the user's mailbox. The other 6 phones in the system...

    Call Center never answers

I have a CallPilot 100 connected to a CICS. Skillset 1 is configured with CDN of 229 (also tried 280 and 233). When a call is transfered to that DN, it just rings and rings. The first step in the routing table is play greeting 1, which is recorded. Delay Anwer is set to 0:00. I've confirmed...

Call Center Hold; Call Center Call Pickup; Multiple Calls for Agents

    1. When an agent places a caller on hold, is it call center hold (with call center greetings)or regular hold? 2. Can a non-call center phone use the call pickup feature to answer a call ringing at a call center phone? 3. Can a call center agent be presented with more than one call at a time?

Can Win 2000 Pro support remote desktop session to it?

Thanks for the references to PCAnywhere, VNC and AIMPro. I have used the first two, and I'll check out AIMPro. I was hoping there was a Windows upgrade/addon such as was offered by Microsoft to upgrade W2000 users with the remote desktop client.

Can Win 2000 Pro support remote desktop session to it?

In XP there is an option to "allow users to connect remotely to this computer". However, I have a client with Win 2000 Pro desktops, and I'd like to be able to remote to them. I understand that Win 2000 Pro does not support this natively, but I'm hoping someone knows of an add on.

BCM tie line without central office?

I appreciate the insight. I need to pass DID digits over to the second system, so I think I need PRI and thus must bite the bullet and buy MCDN. I've never done DID across a T1. I suppose it might be possible to do it as I see they now have DID on individual analog lines, but I'm not familiar...

BCM tie line without central office?

Awesome. Now about the need MCDN codes... I thought MCDN was only if you wanted to do sophisticated call handling such as trunk route optimization or trunk anti-tromboning. Are you saying that MCDN is required on the MICS just to operate a basic PRI? If the MICS requires MCDN, wouldn't it be...

BCM tie line without central office?

We have an existing MICS 7.1. We would like to add a BCM50 in the same building and connect the two such that both can share the existing PRI coming into the MICS. An IP trunk between the two would probably be easy to deploy, but it would be limited in capacity. We would prefer to connect the...
