Indesign to PDF color marks
Hey all, I was mucking around with this issue and I here's something else: when I make a PDF to send to my imagesetter, I need the PDF to be composite so the imagesetter can separate it and run a full auto frame (it seems when I print separations to PDF and RIP them the Indesign trap presets...- inkeddog

Oh, I get it. I actually don't print from Acrobat to my imagesetter, I copy the files over the network with this Hummingbird software. Apparently the imagesetter is Mac oriented (as it should be) but I worl for the State and no one owns a Mac, so all my jobs come in on PC. I'm going to try and...- inkeddog

I have been using the Export PDF option, as opposed to printing to a PDF file. It seems the graphics look much better when I prepare the file that way. I'm guessing that from Indesign, I'm just going to have to Print to the distiller instead of Exporting. I looked for the Advanced button, but...- inkeddog

Okay, I have an issue I can't seem to solve. I have an Indesign file that is 2 color: black and a PMS. I export the file for transfer to an imagesetter as a PDF using the Press setting.
