I have exported my PostScript file to Acrobat 6.05 via Distiller. But I still have a Potential problem: PDF version is newer than 1.3. I PostScripted it as 1.4.
What does this message mean, and what do I do to remove the problem.

Can anyone explain to me why a font such as Monotype Corsiva that is both TTF and Open type needs to be outlind before exporting to PDF? It has been listed as a potential problem in PDF Preflight. I thought that Open fonts were the new 'You Beaut' solution, so why can't PDF process them...
This answer works sometimes. But the dreaded Times New Roman also lodges itself into empty graphics, eg a cut our wave shape. When I placed an Illustrator file into InDesign it brought in a Times New Roman hash that was not in the original.
