    xp, sp2(problem was happening before sp2 install, and continues after i installed it), and should be version of ie that comes with sp2. Ie version shouldnt matter too much, as no other program can access the internet(like ms defender updates, etc).

    Yeah, same issue on the other one. It will grab an ip address from dhcp, and it will transfer say 20-100 packets each way, but no internet. Although both can access the routers website(http://192.168.0.1).
