    No pdf crops/colour bars on ibook PM6.5 files

    Hi all. I have been making full strength .pdf files with crop marks and colour bars, for years with distiller from Pagemaker 6.5 using latest adobe drivers etc. on a desktop mac g3. No worries at all. Recently tried same procedure, with same software (os 9.2.2, ps 8.8, on two mac ibooks...

    Save for web command–All files end up at 299kb

    Hi everyone, On Mac 8.6, PS 5.5 used to work great, now any file processd by image ready or PS save for web ends up at 299kb! Have reinstalled PS but no change. Any ideas appreciated.

    Color library has vanished!

    Hi everyone, My 6.52 (mac) version no longer allows me to define colours from the Utility menu, all libraries are missing. Have tried custom install from orig CD but no dice so far.

    Update PPD not working

    Hello all Pagemaker V6.52, Mac. update ppd feature returns error message “laserwriter cannot be found” and won’t install new ppds from system folder.

    Layer Effects on spot channels P.Shop 5.5 Can layer effects be applied to spot colour channels? DoesnÕt seem to happen for me, or is this one of ÒthoseÓ situations where film output from a postscript file will image OK with effects applied?

    Re handling spot colour in Photo Shop: Should files be cmyk? then add spot channels? Exporting to pagemaker v6.5É The manual is not too clear on the above, when I open an exported dcs2 in Acrobat distiller and Reader the resulting file is blank, hmmmÉ Regards Alec Morgan
