I have experienced a similar problem when the computer sharing the printer was still running win98 and printing from a computer running XP.
If so upgrade the print sharing computer.

I have a very similar problem. My server is a Win98 machine. My lone xp workstation is my laptop and it seems to me that the problem resides with the way that XP is caching the data. I often get this error "Not a table/DBF" first thing...then if I do nothing except leave thing alone...

we have had a policy of trying to migrate into new
OSs for replacement machines on our network.
lack of support from MS makes FPW2.5/6 more fun
