Thanks for the reply. It seems like the problem is with ARP on the clients. If i add a static ARP to the client of the server ip and mac it works fine. (arp -s serverip servermac) Trying to figure out how to solve this, I dont want to have to do this on all my clients...

Yea our Win2k3 SBS is the PDC. Its in the USA. The Samba is in another country but connected via VPN. Ive read a few articles about joining a Samba to a windows domain. To be honost I have not joined a server to a domain before, only winxp pro clients....
