Replying to assist users with a resolution. Found it was only necessary to delete the Outlook profile using the Mail applet in Control Panel. Created a new one and voila!

When I said Office XP, I implied using Outlook not Outlook Express. So, there is no Outbox.* files to delete. Have also tried uninstalling/reinstalling Office but no luck.

Follow up...Thought it was my computer (running XP Pro) but it is not. Logged on as a different user and can send e-mail fine, so it must have something to do with my profile. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
