    Sorry for th elate reply Nobody has RW access Yes somebody else tried it on a different machine The database first asks be for the password and after i enter the password it informs me that it is opening the file in read only mode. I can ftp/email the files to you.There are 2 mdb files Thanks

    A contractor had created it.I tried changing the file permissions in Windows Explorer. But it still asks me for a password when I try to open the file.I have the password but it still opens in read only mode. Maybe there is a different password for opening it in write mode Thanks
