I had this same problem awhile back, and changing the policy setting to wait for the network on startup did not fix it. The following article did fix the problem, however, without, surprisingly, adding much time to the boot process:

You can also do a true sorce NAT, using just the outside intreface IP address, but I do not know the command off the top of my head. I am also not sure what PIX version first supports this.
For the record, the PIX supports NAT, PAT, and Source NAT.
The PIX 515 supports Websense, which will do everything you need. Websense can integrate with an NT domain, as well, giving you passthru authentication.
