    I would first try using Tiramisu for NT (they have a demo version which will let you know if you can recover the files before buying it) and Ontrack's Pro data recovery (Easyrecovery), which also has a free demo version you can use to see what data it can recover.     optical disk data recovery

    The best way to solve this problem is by: 1 - clean the lens on the drive, by using air and a soft brush / or with a cleaning CD. 2 - clean and polish the surface of the disc. In most cases this will cause the disc to be readable again. Hope this helps.
