Does not work. With the old novell client, which was a graphical front end for the ncpmount method, slp did not work but I could enter the server IP-address directly and successfully.- voe

I have the IP address of the SLP server. I tried to modify the file /etc/slp.conf as follows: net.slp.DAAddresses = <IP address> net.slp.useScopes = GLOBAL net.slp.isBroadcastOnly = false net.slp.isDA = true net.slp.interfaces = <IP address> but with these modifications, i don't have any tree...- voe

Hello, I've installed the novell client for linux 1.0 under suse 9.3. Seems to be ok. SLP seems to be configured correctly, but I see trees I can't access and I don't see trees I want and can access! Even if I enter the tree, context, user, ... by hand, I can't access the network. However...- voe
