    Thanks for your suggestion. I was able to fix the problem. The user was logging in with his UID instead of Domain\UID.

    The user is n AD group and he has also been manually added to the portal site.Still he is not authenticated and gets a 401 error. Everything looks fine. His browser settings and I've checked the AD group in which he exists. It has been added to the site. Pls Help

    User unable to access

    Hi, We have a portal where users are added by AD groups.Anyone in the domain can access it.But one particular user cannot access the site as it pops up a login window for access. I cannot figure out what might be the reason.Checked his group and his credentials and everything looks fine.
