Tried to bypass the proxy and couldn't get in. Tried using the IP address of the active server (guessing that's the active address) - couldn't get in. Could the port be turned off? How can I tell?
I tried typing in "set time" - however the date and time screen does not allow me to update the actual date and time. It only allows me to change the "type" field (daylight savings/standard) and the "daylight savings rule" field. What am I doing wrong?
The calls are a bridged appearance on the admin's phone. She answers the call from the bridged line and transfers to vm. Works at one location and not the other location (different PBX). Location where is works has mode-code = n.
Admin's can't transfer calls into audix. The transfer to audix access code is # 0. When the admin hits transfer button, #, 0 - she hears error tone. Does something else need to be set to allow call transfers into audix?
Tried replacing phone, line cord etc.....still dead. I know on Nortel's - the digital phones would sometimes just turn themselves "off" and you'd have to re-enable them. Is there any command like that on the Avaya?
An 8410D phone was working, then suddenly went dead. No lights, no dial tone. When I status the station, the service state field shows "disconnected". I've tried to busy out the station and releasing it. The phone still isn't working and the status still shows disconnected. Help!
