    Phaser 8200 dp switches

    Dip switch 1 puts the printer in Diagnostic Mode. Dip switch 2 puts it in Manufacturing Mode (less restrictive control).

    Phaser 850 has paper jams all the time

    You probably have a bad paper guide, or one of the parts on the guide has come loose. The paper guide (pn 351-1032-00) is the black plastic piece with white plastic rollers. It sits at the front of the printer and right above the paper tray. I'd be happy to track one down for you...
