I am attempting to import an excel file into Access and I get "Microsoft Access has encountered a problem and needs to close". An associate of mine can import this file into a blank database on their desktop without any error. What could the problem be?

If I put in a Pivot Table it is going to lump all the [Hours Remaining] in the week of the [Stop Date]. What I need to do is evenly distribute the [Hours Remaining] across the weeks from todays date through the week of the stop date.

I am trying to create a query that takes
[Hours remaining] on a project, looks at todays date and the project [StopDate] and evenly distributes these remaining hours into Weekly data columns.
For example project ABC has 20 hours remaining and has a [StopDate] of 9/3/2006...
Here was the problem. When I updated the drop-down list with new values I did not put any descriptions next to the values. There is an option to "Prompt by Description Only" which was set to yes.
I did use the import option from a text file. I am going to take the original file which is working and try replacing the drop down manually. I will get back to you to tell you if it works.

The new default values are not there.
The drop down for both fields are blank but when you hit the arrow for the drop down there are exactly 14 blank drop down values (which is the number of different values on the list).
When I select one of the values and "submit" the value comes through...

Is there any way I can download the recurring events information into an excel document? The information I need is
Run Date and Time, Parameters, E-mail distribution, report format.
It would take a while for me to go into the two screens for all recurring events.

Is there any way to "record" my screen into a clip to use for training. For example someone would open a clip I sent them which shows my desktop screen, my mouse opening MS Access and selecting repair and compact from the menu options.
Found the problem. In the report header there was a OLE object with a company logo. Somewhere along the way this item got corrupted. When the OLE object was removed I was then able to export to Acrobat...Strange but true. I hope this problem helps someone else. Thanks for the help.
