I had the same problem when I joined in a new company. The problem is surely with your com card , try to change the setting link speed/duplex mode until you have the connection.I trust this will work.

I don`t have any problem to access the main server. The Ps are locally networked on a domain and I believe they are talking o each other through NETBEUI rther than TCP/IP.
