Thanks a lot. That did the trick, with Excel it looked like one very long line of names, but Word did a little nicer formatting. I wish I could show my users how to do something by themselves...instead of having to do it for them.

Hi and thanks again for all your help. The IMS was not installed properly on the server, once I installed it, I was able to create custom recepients with no problem

Hi and thanks a lot for the very quick reply, I have tried with and without quotes, I have tried different addresses (and made sure the spelling was correct) and we have no problem sending e-mail to other people outside the firm, we can send messages w/o a problem.?!?!?!?

I'm running Exchange 5.5 with about 300 users, I need to add custom recipients (or any type or recipient with an external e-mail address ""whoever@somewherelse.com") I have added a custom recipient and get this reply when I attepmt to send them messages:

I need to send a copy of the distribution lists to all the departments for their approval. can anybody tell me how can I print them or save them individually? Thanks
