Is there any way I can run an AMD K8-2 5OOMHZ on a
DELL OptiPlex GMT?
Is There a Bios Upgrade that can recognize this processor?
THANK'S SO MUCH FOR YOUR INFO.
What you probably need, since you already have a network, is a cable router. This way the receiveing signal from your ISP can be routed to all of the pc's and you don't need the two NICs.
Use this link to view cable router http://www.linksys.com/products/product.asp?prid=155&grid=5
Good Luck ...
Try to disable ,one by one,[in the system configuration utility] whatever is loading at the start of windows ,then
disable all of the audio compression codecs [multimedia properties+devices],restart your pc a couple of times then enable them again.
I have a SB PCI128 and had the same problem...
I HAVE A MS-5148 MBOARD AND WAS URGRADING BIOS
BUT INSTEAD OF USING FILE W548MSXX.BIN I USED W558MSXX.BIN
[FOR A DIFERENT MBORD].WHEN I RESTARTED THE PC IT JUST DIDN'T BOOT, NOT EVEN THE MONITOR CAME ON.I TRY A COUPLE OF TIMES AND NOTHING.
IS THERE A WAY TO UNDO AND FLASH THE COORRECT FILE OR IS...
