Hi, Delster! You were absolutely right! Turns out that one of our lines was out and the phone company actually accepted responsibility and fixed it! We're now back up and running. I was blaming our VP206, but it was working fine after all. Thanks to everyone for their much-needed advice!
Thanks for the prompt response, allisland! Turns out we DON'T have a dial tone on the second line. If someone is tlking on one extension, when someone else picks up their phone, they first get a stutter dial tone followed by a regular dial tone. But when they start to dial, they get a busy...
