FYI
I now have 120 handsets (mix of 9608 and 9611g's) using firmware S6.2119 and across multiple sites.
All appears to be working well.
Intend to upgrade another 100 or so over the next couple of weeks.
Only found 2 minor issues so far:
1. Screen saver does not move
2. When on SendAll active and a call is received, the short ring alert (if configured) only works on certain phones.
Anybody else experiences these issues?
Does anyone know of any issues in changing the IP Address of the Internal interface of an ISA Server 2004?
The subnet is different i.e. was on a 10.15.0.0/16 and will now be on a 10.10.0.0/16 subnet.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Hi,
The ACL takes a hit each time.
I have done more work and it appears that a SYN Timeout occurs after the default 2 minutes. This also happens if I try an SMTP connection.
I can ping both the source and destination from the PIX, so why doesn't the 3 way handshake take place?
Any help...
Looking for some advice on how to solve the following problem.

Problem: When I try to initiate a remote desktop connection...
I've had a PIX 515E OS 6.3(3)working very happily for a few years now, so I know the syntax of the commands iim using is correct, unless i've made typo's with ip addresses.
We have just changed ISP's and have also relocated the PIX to a co-lo centre. In the mean time I have rented another PIX...
Have PIX 515E-R running IOS 6.3(3) and have also rented another PIX 515E-R running IOS 6.3(4).
Reset rented PIX to factory default and the loaded config from non-rented PIX. Tried to use IPSEC client VPN on rented PIX, fails to connect.
Q. Are the passwords related to the VPN setup contained...
Running VMPro through the switch could cause a problem then?
Did notice "voice breakup" when access VM from IP Phone even locally.
Will go back to supplier.
Just purchased an IP Office 406v2 and will be running in "tdm mode".
Have also purchased VCM5 and 1 ip handset along with BayStack 460 Qos PoE switch for trials.
Q - It is my understanding that the ethernet switch on the 406 and on other models does NOT support Qos. How's that going to work...
