    Route's

    To list the default route and all static routes configured in the AIX odm object inet0, execute: lsattr -El inet0 | grep route To remove any of these routes, use smit. smitty rmroute

    Telnet

    Typically, command syntax is nohup <command> & Where you usually put the command in the background so you can exit the telnet session. Of course, this would not work at all with commands requiring interactive response.

    You need to stop xntpd before running the ntpdate command. Once you have set the time with ntpdate, you can then start the daemon.
