On the main report I checked the format and made sure each fo the 3 sub reports had the line style left, right, top, and bottom at none.

I reviewed your jpg screen shot and it looks like you have a Windows Installer option off the Windows component. All I have off the Windows Component is Search, Windows Media Player, and Windows Update. I do not have the Windows Installer folder.
When I run MMC with SP3, I only get options Search, Windows Media Player, and Windows Update under the Windows Components of MMC.
When you run MMC and then under help is it showing version 2 or 3?
