Splitting up AS400 DASD into 2 ASPs... pitfalls?
I don't believe there EVER was a case where a program couldn't read data from another ASP, (if there was, it would have had to be before V3). Anyhow... I guess the question would be, what are you trying to accomplish by creating seperate ASPs in the first place?- MarkATaylor

AS/400 Twinax controller device limit
You can physically connect 56 devices (8 ports, 7 addresses per port) but IBM only supports 40 active devices at any one time.
