    FOPN_FLock error

    I get the following error when I try to read my Windows 2000 Professional ebook w/ Acrobat reader 5.0 the document could not be opened because the P;ug-in required by the "FOPN_fLock" security handler is not available.

    Excel 97 Error opening (some) files

    I have also experienced this problem. I went into tools, options, and in the General tab, I unchecked the ignor other aplications and then whatever Excel document I exacuted opened. Try this.

    Can't open Excel Spreadsheets w/o Excel open

    I have to have Excel open before I can open a Spreadsheet, and If I get an attached Spreadsheet in an e-mail I can't open it until I save it to my desktop, and open Excel.
