not a mitel guru at all. i have read the book front to back. it doesnt say one word about idle line preference. it can do it cause some phone do pickup a line when the handset is lifted. can anyone please help?
Does the activation keys on the DSP card cover IP phones as well as IP PT phones? I am attempting to install 1 of each.

New system, new card, the DLC card shows a red light. In software it is out of service. When I try to put in service I get a card obstacle error.

IP Office 8.0, How do I send a caller that has reached the AA directly to a voicemail rather than ringing their phone? Think I have lost my mind today.
I assumed there would be an essential license. Because when I upgraded to 8 it did not see it. I thought after making the call it magically appears hahaha. Then I would be able to upgrade back to 8. I have no idea really, does it show?
Fairly new to the IP office world, done some programming but never outta the box install. My cards all flash on ports 1 and 8 an amber color every so often. Why is that?

The help files for console version 7.2 have not been released. The Help files will not work for the TDE/NCP, these systems have the new ver5 and help files are not available yet. We are anticipating a release sometime in March.

I upgraded a TDE to V5, I can connect and program with no issues. I noticed that the V5 help files are missing. I do not see anything on the pana website. Are they hidden somewhere? If I open a lower version the help files are available only seems to be with V5.
The only thing that I can think that may have affected the voicemail is I setup the phone system to use port 16 before I had changed the Ext. numbers to 4 digits. But I then went back and deleted the vm ext. and tried it with the new ext. made no difference.

Had a 1232 go crazy today, ended up having to default it and reprogram, not a big deal. But somehow all messages left in the voicemail are gone. I did nothing to the voicemail system, where did the messages go? Is there anyways to get them back?
Prior to installing Outlook, I was using windows mail never had this problem. I would think if there was something deleting files it would cause all my email accounts to download the emails again. Its only 1 account that is doing it. I have double checked all the settings on my end, all of them...
Recently installed Office 2007. Windows Vista, have completed all updates.
I have several email accounts that are checked but 1 account gives me issues. I will receive emails from that account, read, delete, etc. Check the mail again nothing there. Then maybe 2 hours later, sometimes 2 days...

From a system phone press INTERCOM 771 and see if it works. Then busy out Ext. 10 and repeat. If not you programmed something incorrectly. This has nothing to do with selector codes.
