    yea... i tried both gif and jpg as well as png, tif, eps, etc... i'm exhausting graphic extensions... hehehe... i tried cutting and pasting as well, but yea - it turned out even worse, so that didn't work well... i'll try that - thanks... :)

    that's the thing, though, i've tried a bunch of different file formats and dpi and no matter what it still looks crappy and this is coming from a vector illustrator file... doesn't make sense... i work with images all the time and have never had this problem, but then again, i'm new to filemaker...

    my layout settings are: add newly defined fields to current layout and my color palette is 88 colors, however, i'm just using a black and white image and its still looking grainy... its set as a grayscale file... i'm just using the graphics for layout...
