    NT can't Trust a 2000 domain b/c of length of name?

    Thank you this info. was very helpfull. I have successfully established a trust between the NT Server and the W2K server were the W2k trusts the NT. I'm still have problems making the trust were the NT box will trust the W2K box. The new issue is a permissions problem though not a domain name...

    I've got a W2K Domain controller and WinNT PDC with which I have to establish a trust relationship. I cannot can not add the name of the W2K domain to the WinNT "trusting domains list" because the W2K domain name does not fit in the WinNT "trusting domains list" text box...
