I have a text box, then an image box. I use the selection tool [black arrow] and drag around all objects. Either that or I have clicked while holding shift. I then have tried clicking G and Shift or Using Object>Group.

The only issue is, that this is with ANY indesign document I have. Not just the one. I start a new one, group, then am stuck again.

OK... The using the direct select tool, cut and paste in place worked. It was not a compound path. Any idea why it is doing this in the first place? Every time I group I encounter this. Thanks Allene
