BCM 400 3.7 Fax Over IP FoIP ??

The plan would be that the bcm handles all the inner workings of ip fax to POTS fax. Using the VoIP settings of some sort. The FoIP card connects to the same network that the BCM is on and it handles the actual outbound and inbound faxes. That was my idea anyway.

    BCM 400 Issue

If the phones are still working, I would say the hard drive crashed. We had the same problem a while back. All you can do is get a new hard drive and start over. The MSC card controls all the telephony while the hard drive controls the voice mail and auto attendants and the like. Best of luck.

BCM 400 3.7 Fax Over IP FoIP ??

Everyone here has been so helpful, I thought I would ask here before calling a random vendor. Has anyone set up FoIP with a BCM 400? I have an ISDN PRI going into my BCM 400 running 3.7 and I want to buy a Fax Over IP card for a PC/Fax Server running fax software (FaxMaker 14). Will this work...

    Fax issues - Gain control - BCM400 3.7

That is a good point about it not being a point-to-point. I hadn't looked at it that way. How would I check the clocking on the PRI? I have set the numbers to forward to our old fax provider and everything appears to be fine. So I think, oh it must be the new provider's lines. However, they...

    Fax issues - Gain control - BCM400 3.7

For some reason no matter what word I search for, I get 0 results. So I apologize if this has already been covered. I have an ISDN PRI feeding my system. I have set up routes and destination codes to forward my DID fax numbers to external fax machines at an E-faxing company. The issue arose...

    Destination Code Error

I am trying to set up a forward. I have an did extension that apparently was set up as a Fax On Demand before my system hard drive crashed (no backups). The DN is showing up as Port 0405 which corresponds to my Trunk Module and the state is Unequipped and the device is None. I swapped the DN to...

I believe that explains exactly what I was looking for. Thanks

DID to DTMF conversion - BCM 400

I have scoured the internet and have not found a definite answer. So I'm asking the pros... I have a BCM 400 and a computer with multiple fax cards in it. My fax server software says it can route faxes based on DTMF/DID conversion. The idea is that I would have 7 DIDs that point to a pool of...
