    cent and degree characters?

When I used Pagemaker 5.0 on Mac I hit control shift 0 for the degree sign and control shift $ for cent mark. I try that on Pagemaker 6.0 with a PC I get nothing. I've tried the help section and it was of no help. I did find symbols for Trademark, etc. but not degree and cent signs. Thanks
