    Btrieve 6.15.451 on windows XP Pro

    You can apply the standard MS security template called COMPATWS. This relaxes the security so that even a restricted user can use v6.15 engine. You will still need to change the home directory in via the w32mkset.exe. If you don't apply the template, power user or admin rights are required.

    Adding an ODBC DSN for Pervasive

    If you're using a server engine and your adding the DSN from a client you will not see the engine interface. If your adding a new DSN the engine interface wizard will occur after the initial cleint interface set-up. Regards, Dave
