    Cisco VPN and AOL 7.0 Issues

    I work with nortel vpn software and hardware, and it is flakey with AOL software. AOL even admitted it. I know this does not help you, but it may enforce the fact that your vpn is only a viable solution if your isp is allowing vpn to work with it's software and network.

    You need to enable ipsec pass-through on the router. The router firmware needs to be able to support the ipsec protocol.

    Does anyone know what the error message: "invalid timer errors" means? I get this message on a cisco 804 router. thanks jbonn

    pinging

    I can surf the internet, but I cannot ping out to any sites. My ISP cannot ping the address of my Lucent Pipeline ISDN router. I do not have a firewall, nor am I using NAT. Does anyone know why I cannot ping anything? jbonn
