I recently got a 2600 Series router (2621 to be exact). It has two FastEthernet ports and I am running IOS 12.2 on it. I was wondering what do I have to do to get an IP address from the cable modem and then use that router as my internet access router (ICS, NAT, DHCP). Thank you in advance -

Also you may want to consider setting up a static route from the router inside your network (R2 S1) to the router outside your network (R1 S1). Just a thought. -
