Check in C:\Program Files and see if the programs are still there or they might be in C:\ if they are still there then you can just delete them but they will still show up on your add/remove menu. If they aren't there then you are all set.

In my control panel the sound menu does not start up, I click the icon, it shows the hourglass then it goes away and nothing happens. Some other stuff is like that too but I am more concerned with the sound since my sound is not working at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
