oh yeah, forgot to mention. all computer cases will have that little metal round bit on the back of the access panel so we can either put a lock on it or a industrial cable tie. so if someone really wants in, they have to at least have tools or a key.

i'm using winXP and wanted to copy my old HD to my new SATA HD as it should be faster and is a bit bigger.
this is what i have done...
cloned (using ghost) my old 160 Gig HD to my new SATA HD
changed BIOS boot order to 1-SCSI 2-CD-ROM
the jumpers have been totally removed from both IDE HD's...

What i would like to do is clone or copy my old IDE hard drive to a new slightly larger SATA hard drive and then have the new SATA work as the system disk.
i used norton ghost 9.0 to copy the old IDE HD to my new SATA HD, no problems there, it worked.
