If you want to use the local IE proxy settings you need to use the latest client (6.30.xxx)
On the Nfuse server, find the template.ica file (Program Files\Citrix\Nfuse)
Edit the template.ica file :
In the [WFClient] section, add this line:-
ProxyType=Auto

Using CSG and NFuse "is" a VPN solution, but one that is limited to only ICA traffic.
You will need a client of some sorts for your solution, but this comes in different forms.
The 'best' solution is the full client - but thats not always practical in remotre...

The XML service is a Win2k 'service' but it is set under the MF XP CMC.
In the CMC, under the 'Servers' icon, right click on each server name and select Properties.
Under the MetaFrame Settings tag, about 3/4 of a page down, is an entry 'Citrix XML Service'

Done a fair amount of CSG work recently.
Had the same problem occur as you guys.
The NFuse server and the seperate CSG server both need Port 443 and FQDNs. These names can be registered on a public DNS (ie csg.mycompany.com etc) for Internet use, or via HOSTS files for testing purposes.
