could be network related? flakey connection? seems weird that it works then doesn't work. Unless you are doing anything dynamic with the ODBC / DSN structure it should stick.

Good answer on the loop. I now have a little app that performs exactly how I need it to.. and even attaches as many files as needed that are located in whatever folder the system tells it to look at.

hmmm I have something similar to this that I cannot get to work.
I use the following bit of attach code to attach a single file to an email;
