I normally get this error code if I forget to close all progams in the system tray, specifically my Norton antivirus. Make sure you have nothing running but explorer and system tray when you hit CTRL ALT Delete.

Thanks for your input, you are correct that there is an options tab, and within that tab is the startup tab. It only lets you select the types of files to be scanned, no mention of being able to select the drive. Thanks again, Larryz28
