    Ok that worked! But now it created a new problem, it's using IE to open the .eml file instead of using outlook. When we had to download the file, it already knew to use Outlook when we opened it. Anyway to get it to use outlook right from sharepoint?

    Right now we have a mail enabled discussion group. We have it configured to save the original email. But when you click the link to the .eml file, it only allows you to Save or Cancel. Is there a way to get the "open" button to populate on that prompt??

    That's the thing, we want to be able eliminate having to download it to the desktop. We want to open it right from sharepoint.

    Discussion Board worked! However, our only issue with it now is when it saves the original email, it won't just allow you to open it from the post. Instead when you click it, only two buttons show: Save and Cancel. Is there a way to have "Open" show on that prompt?
