    Dos Serial Printing in XP

Since the printers work fine under 98 but not under XP, I tend to think that the problem lies more with the custom application than anything. I can copy a text file to the printer ok, I just cannot get the custom application to print to it in XP. My next step before doing anything else is to...

    Dos Serial Printing in XP

Thanks for all they great suggestions. So far nothing has worked. Going to order in a parallel receipt printer which should work just fine and dandy (according to the software developers). As usual, 1 upgrade leads to another, then another and then another just to get everything working correctly.

    Dos Serial Printing in XP

Love to stick to 98, but we can't (long story). Just configuring the ports in XP does not work. I either have to get the MODE command to work for that particular session of DOS or replace all of our serial receipt printers with parallel ones (which is the best option but more costly). Thanks...

    Outlook and Profiles

I have been given the task of researching the feasability of migrating from Groupwise to Exchange 2003 (I knew I should have gotten into carrot farming when I had the chance). I am trying to find a solution for the following in Outlook 2002 or 2003. We have several employees that share...

    WIFI Performance and overhead

I am looking for some good documentation that explains the true speeds of WIFI, including the inherant overhead of 802.11x, the effect of enabling WEP etc etc. I am trying to put together a document for our "higher" ups so they can fully understand what to expect when we switch an...
