open the app (C:\WINDOWS\system32\gpedit.msc)
now follow me :
administrative templates -> system - > Ctrl+Alt+Del Options -> remove task manager
set the option to (Not Configured) or to (Disabled)

we all know that great app (GPEdit.msc) .... don't we?....
we all know that option in that app that sets some (WinExplorer) settings to prevent access the (RegEdit.exe).
and we all know then that (WinExplorer) shows a (Restriction) msg when someone trys to access the (RegEdit.exe)...
execuse me but , .....
I don't have that virus on my machine(I use kaspersky)
all I wanted to know is how to fix the damages of that virus......
not repairing the system (it works but doesn't teach me)

there were a virus that prevents the user from hiding/Showing hidden Files and folders.
you go to :
Tools -> Folder Options -> View -> (set it to what you want , close it , go to it again.... it's the way it was )

seems to me as a (Power Supply) problem ....(is it so ..???)

I had a (Win XP & Win Vista) installed on my pc , each on a local drive.
(XP is installed before vista)
and I've done an image of the (XP)drive using (Norton Ghost) program before installing (vista).
at the startup (vista) displays a list of installed operating systems to chose.
