Did you specifically install the VBA help files?
I know it wasn't in the module list where I assumed it was so I missed installing it.
You need to install the VB Help files which are located under Office Shared Features in the VBA folder, not inside the Microsoft Excel for Windows folder.
Do you have Norton Antivirus installed on the slow computer?
Microsoft has this listed as a known problem. See support.microsoft.com and search for knowledge base article 262530 .
Did you do a full install of Access with everything set to run from computer (not run on first use)?
The Access wizards are co-dependent. If you try to run one for the first time which depends on another wizard which hasn't yet been run, it will crap out.
