How do i find out which driver etc tho. Its very confusing, I have reformatted many times and the same error occurs but at various times, never after installing a certain driver. The most recent time it occured was after installing direct x 9 drivers.

tried using just one memory stick, tired using 512 on its own aswell as 256 but the stop screen still appears. Im still thinking that there are serious problems with my harddrive possibly. Any ideas ?

Ok I have done a check disk in DOS and it found errors on my harddrive. I hope that the whole hard drive isn't corrupt or doesnt have any physical damage, reformating will be no use as I have done it so many times alrdy but it hasn't really ever helped.
