Outlook pst file
The Microsoft outlook .pst file is on the local machine which is not backed up. I want to place the pst file on the a 2003 server so it is backed up nightly. I see no setting in Microsoft outlook tells the program I have moved it to the 2003 server. Surely I don't have to keep that file on...- Diesels

I learned Access reports on my own, I learned Crystal Reports on my own, (with the help of some books) but I had to take the Impromptu Administrator Course at Cognos to figure how the catalog worked. I don't know why there are not any books on the subject. Diesel- Diesels

Error 3048 ("Can't open any more databases")
This error has kicked my butt for 4 months now. 66 users have this software and 1 user gets it when she adds more then 26 or 27 claims or deviations. Which may occure about 1 or 2 times a decade. However the *$%R insists that the error be corrected. I tried everything suggested here and...- Diesels

Transferdatabase with password
Yea kicked my butt also. Essentually you must remove the password from the database before you use the transferdatabase command. Do your thing with the data in the tables, then put the password back. In my application that master database has to link through 160 databases, update records...- Diesels
