We have an Onyx 2 running Irix 6.2 and use it for r&d.
We switch the server on when we need to use it. A few days ago I switched it on, only to find that it had somehow lost its 2nd IP address on ef0 and unable to contact the DNS server.

Im new to Irix, but we have a Indy workstation without a monitor, would the above circuit your talking about allow me to connect it to a standard pc monitor ??

Does anyone know of any adaptor/circuit board which will allow you to connect a indy workstation to a normal pc monitor ?

The command needed was the following:
ifconfig -v ef0 ipaddress

Hi all,
Im new to SGI Irix and we have a SGI ONYX box here with one network interface card (EF0).
Currently its got one IP bound to it and I need to bind one more. I've tried the good old linux commands ifconfig ef0:0 but it dosent seem to work.
Can anyone please help with this problem ...
