In the myreplace() function, do I just keep making Replaces for the rest of the formatting options, too? i.e.: to <i> to </i> to <u> to </u> ...and so on and so on? Any idea how it would be done with the colors?

Dave, thanks for your quick response. The FAQ is just what I needed and it works great! As for vituz's code for formatting text, when I set up the receiving page, Response.write literally writes verbatim test and not the desired results. Any ideas on what to put on the receiving page? Hopefully...

Y'know, the little button that calls up your desktop from underneath a pile of open applications. Somehow I lost it. I've gone to Start>Settings>Taskbar & Start Menu>Advanced Tab>Add ...but where is the item I need? Thank you!

I have created a 2002 calendar of events in MS Word. Is there a way to extract the dates and events I have added into a text file? Text file example: JAN 1 Event 2 Event 3 4 Event 1 Event 2 5 (etc.....) Thank you!

SeAL: Thank you, but your solution doesn't work correctly on a PC. On a PC it just gives the alert then submits anyway. Any other ideas? FYI: I have seven fields to validate. I just posted the code for the first one as a code example.
