I am using a 2912 with IOS load:
flash:c2900XL-c3h2s-mz-120.5.2-XU.bin
This is an Entertprise version which may support dot1q trunking rather than just ISL.
Hope this helps,

Hi Todd,
First, DHCP and Call Manager do not mis, I have had call completion problems with as few as 10 phones.
Another solution is to use DHCP services on the router to hand out IP addresses. I have included sample configurations for a router and a switch that do exactly what you are...
I believe that after the ring tone is selected you have to press the down (left) volume button to save the update. I will try this tonight and let you know.

Hi all:
It really does depend on your switch types. Each switch type has a different ASIC that handles each individual port, and the QoS features are port dependent. If you send me a list of switch types I can forward the basic QoS commands for each type. Please include native versus CatOS...
For the hotel, how about a translation pattern that matches all room extensions, and a calling party transform mask that sets the called number to the operator's extension, or blank.
This might work with a series of translation patterns for the destination DNs that need caller ID blocked.
Ahha! I have call managers running in my lab, so I bet the best thing to do is to make the capture attempt off the call manager not the Sim.
I bet if the authentication.asp was modified to use a fixed username and password it would solve this problem. No LDAP lookup on DC Directory would be...

Imbedded QDM.TAR in the routers and switches
Finisar Surveyor with the QoS RFactor measurement tool. They also have some great inline taps for monitoring individual phones with an inline monitor.
Syslog/SNMP Traps from the gateways
Hope this helps.
I have just installed the Sim myself, and am looking to capture screens. I re-installed CM 3.1(2c), and believe that the problem is in the CiscoURLProxy/Authentication.asp area. I am doing more testing tonight on a clean setup and hope to have more answers tomorrow.
Let me know if you have...
Thanks,
I was afraid of that. I am going to be working with a group of Cisco SEs in a few weeks and see if there is any internal documents that might shed more light on the subject.
Thanks again!!
I am not sure if this is an Urban Legend, but informed sources have told me it is possible to promote a Cisco Call Manager Subscriber Server to a Publisher. I have been asked for documentation many times, but have been unable to locate same on CCO.
Thanks,
Bill B.
When it comes to adding a subsriber to a publisher, I always use the browse feature to find the publisher. This means they can communicate and will have the correct information as far as workgroups, domains, etc.
Don't forget to put both publisher and subscriber host names and their ip...
