I need to change the default log prefix of the web log and firewall log. Currently they are prefixed WEB and FWS, I would like them to be prefixed with W3 so my crystal reports software will read them.

Thanks… but unfortunately the IP address field varies, sometimes it may be xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx or xx.xxx.x.xxx, if I could find a way to search for the third decimal and output everything to the left I would be good to go.

I have report with the field {Web.ClientIP} the current field looks like xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx. I would like to output only the first three octets ie: xxx.xxx.xxx. Any help would be much appreciated.
PS: I tried using the mid function, but due to the changing IP addresses it is not...
What has been working for use is to the windows password to authenticate. Disable the network login and use windows login. Use the same user/pass for the domain. Once you connect to your VPN and try to use domain resources the domain will check your credentials stored in the *.pwl file.
